Very heavy. Plan to use on fire doors in daycare center
These hinges are strong, they are made out of thick cast steel. They state they are 3 hour fire resistant and I believe it. The hinges are well lubricated so they swing with ease. There are 4 mounting points on each side of the hinge and the package includes the necessary hardware to mount the hinges. These things are heavy duty and I am currently using them to make an entire 8x6 wall swing on a shed. Super heavy duty and work great - easy to install. 5/5 stars
I was looking for hinges for a small project, but wow, these are heavy duty! The quality is great: tough, heavy steel that works perfectly. It comes with two types of screws, and they're easy to install. This set might actually be overboard for what I'm using them for (these ARE meant for doors), but there's no doubt they will last a long time and get the job done. I'm very happy with them!
