Works great

Easy to install, we needed to keep out road noise and smells in our coffee shop bakery and this does the job easily and quickly. Great design well made been in use for a month and having no problems. We recommend it.

It works surprisingly well.

Some cutting required, but this will help with sound and fire intrusion if that was a concern. This is perfect if you want to seal a room of, or at least prevent as much air passage for various reasons, like 3D printer smell being a issue with the rest of the house. In my case, I got this as to test out if it would assist my son during his game development as he needs quiet during recording. Close the door normally, and it will cause the gasket to drop, open the door to have a spring press it back up as the door starts to swing open. There is an adjustable mechanical switch on the one side that bumps up against a installable plate that allows the pressure to be relieved off the gasket and allow it to drop. Open the door and it re-engages. Kind of genius design. With the gasket in place, less noise from outside his room makes it in. It is much quieter. Another benefit is that things like smoke during a fire will impact his room less, not that we had one. Moreover, this could also be a good way to keep smells where they belong, which is why I brought up the 3D printer which makes me think that I will pick up another one of these when it comes down to replacing the door going into the basement as it would assist in keeping heat down there as well as smells from getting into the rest of the house while I print with my FDM or resin printers.
