Door Lock Functions
A variety of door lock functions for specific entrances.
Entry Function
• Entrance/Keylock Function: (Turn/push-button locking: push-button locks the outside lever until it is unlocked by key or by turning the inside lever) • Pushing and turning button locks outside lever, requiring use of a key until the button is manually unlocked • Interior lever is always free for emergency egress at all times.
Classroom Function
• Classroom Function (Commonly used in School Classrooms). • Exterior lever is placed in the locked or unlocked position with key. • Set the exterior lever to be either locked or unlocked using the key. • Interior lever is always free for emergency egress at all times. .
Storeroom Function
• Storeroom Function (commonly used on storerooms and mechanical rooms. • When the door is closed, it is always locked (rigid) from the outside and requires a key to open. • Door is always open from the inside for emergency egress.
Passage Function
• Passage Function (both levers are always unlocked)
Privacy Function
• Privacy / Bathroom Function (The outside lever is locked by pushing a button on the inside and can be unlocked from the outside by using a flat object (coin or screwdriver) to turn the button for emergency entrance. • Also, Turning inside lever or closing the door will release the button. • Inside lever is always free for immediate egress.
